Show + Sale is an annual public retail event showcasing the work of Alberta College of Art + Design (ACAD) students. Shockdav rebranded the Show + Sale website and designed a viral marketing campaign called “Art For”. In just seven days, we built a responsive, web-based platform that allowed users to easily create virtual posters describing why they make art. Two days after its launch, the website was attracting hundreds of visitors on a daily basis. Users created posters and shared them via social media channels like Facebook and Twitter. This created buzz about Show + Sale and spread the word about the event far and wide.
